In the early hours of Tuesday morning we
said goodbye to our beloved Bella.
Bella in her bonnet has become the symbol
of Kamawarie and her smiling face welcomes
guests to our website.
Bella was the epitome of everything which
is so wonderful and so cherished by all who
have ever owned and loved a Cavalier.
Her sweet and affectionate nature together
with her love of the outdoors, and
especially her love of water, combine to
leave us with a host of wonderful memories
of a gentle, fun loving lady.
It was only about a month ago that Bella
began to lose her zest for life.
However, she lined up for her early morning
cuppa as usual right up till a couple of
days before her passing.
We have a secret,
you and I,
That no one else shall know,
For who but I can see you lie
Each night in fireglow?
And who but I can reach out my hand
Before we go to
bed,
And feel the living warmth of you
And touch your silken head?
And only I walk woodland paths,
And see, ahead of me,
Your small form racing with the wind,
So young again,
and free.
And only I can see you swim
In every stream I pass.
And, when I call, no one but I
Can see the bending grass.
